Self-repair is nature''s way of protecting living organisms. However, most single cells are inherently less capable of self-repairing, which greatly limits their wide applications. Here, we present a self-assembly approach to create a nanoshell around the cell surface using nanoporous biohybrid aggregates. The biohybrid shells present self-repairing behaviour, resulting in high activity and extended viability of the encapsulated cells (eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells) in harsh micro-environments, such as under UV radiation, natural toxin invasion, high-light radiation and abrupt pH-value changes. Furthermore, an interaction mechanism is proposed and studied, which is successful to guide design and synthesis of self-repairing biohybrid shells using different bioactive molecules. 相似文献

A series of novel soluble poly(aryl ether ketone)s (PAEKs) based on 5,10‐bis(4‐hydroxyphenyl)?15,20‐diphenylporphyrin (cis‐DHTPP), 4,4′‐(hexafluoroisopropylidene) diphenol (6FBPA) and 4,4′‐difluorobenzophenone (DFB) were synthesized and characterized by FT‐IR, 1H‐NMR, UV–vis and fluorescence spectroscopies. The intrinsic photophysical properties of porphyrins were preserved because of the absence of photoinduced electron transfer in the polymer chains. Investigation of the copolymers thermal properties indicated that these polymers had high glass transition temperatures and excellent thermal stabilities. The results of Z‐scan and optical limiting measurements manifested that incorporation of the porphyrin chromophore into the main chain engendered the novel PAEKs with superior nonlinear optical properties and optical limiting function, which could be effectively tuned by varying the molar ratio of porphyrin monomers. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A nanomaterials-based novel molecular beacon has attracted growing attentions in fluorescent assays as many nanomaterials possess excellent quenching efficiency. In this work, a gold-based nanobeacon probe was established to detect organophosphorus pesticides for the first time. The constructed gold-based nanobeacon acted as a signal indicator and could display the decreasing of the intensity in the presence of targets, which competitively bound to single strand DNA. To achieve a high sensitive probe, some parameters including solution pH, temperature and reaction time were investigated and optimized. The gold-based nanobeacon probe assay was proved to be rapid and sensitive to achieve a detection limit of 0.035 μM for isocarbophos, 0.134 μM for profenofos, 0.384 μM for phorate and 2.35 μM for omethoate, respectively. The prepared nanobeacon effectively reduced the background and improved the detection sensitivity and selectivity. The probe is stable, easy to operate and does not need sophisticated instruments. These features makes the probe feasible for screening trace organophosphorus pesticides in real samples. 相似文献

Neopanaxadiol (NPD), a major ginsenoside in Panax ginseng C. A. Meyer (Araliaceae), was reported to have neuroprotective effect. In this study, a method of ultra‐performance liquid chromatography quadrupole time‐of‐flight mass spectrometry (UPLC/QTOF‐MS) was developed and validated for quantitative analysis of NPD in tissues, urine and feces, using liquid–liquid extraction (LLE) to isolate NPD from different biological samples, and chromatographic separation was performed on an Agilent Zorbax Stable Bond C18 (2.1 × 50 mm, 1.8 µm) column with 0.1% formic acid in water and acetonitrile. All standard calibration curves were linear (all r2 > 0.995) within the test range. After oral administration, NPD was extensively distributed to most of the tissues without long‐term accumulation. The higher levels were observed in stomach and intestine, followed by kidney and liver. Approximately 64.56 ± 20.32% of administered dose in feces and 0.0233 ± 0.0356% in urine were found within 96 h, which indicated that the major elimination route was fecal excretion. This analytical method was applied to the study of NPD distribution and excretion in rats after oral intake for the first time. The results we found here are helpful for us to understand the pharmacological effects of NPD, as well as its toxicity. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献

We report the discovery that 1,3‐bis(aryl)imidazolidin‐2‐ylidenes, one of the most widely studied classes of N‐heterocyclic carbenes (NHCs), undergo quantitative conversion to zwitterionic “NHC‐CDI” amidinates upon heating to ≈100 °C in solution. The mechanism of this novel NHC decomposition process is studied in detail. These studies enabled the rational synthesis of a new class of bench stable amidinates from a panel of NHCs and carbodiimides. 电子回旋共振(ECR)中和器是微型ECR离子推力器的重要组成部分,其引出的电子用于中和ECR离子源的离子束流,避免了航天器表面电荷堆积,并且电子引出性能对推力器的整体性能起着重要作用.为了分析影响微型ECR中和器电子引出的因素,本文建立了二维轴对称PIC/MCC计算模型,通过数值模拟研究不同磁路结构对中和器的电子引出,及不同腔体长度对壁面电流损失的影响.计算结果表明, ECR区位置和引出孔附近磁场构型对中和器的电子引出性能至关重要.当ECR区位于天线上游,电子在迁移扩散中易损失,并且电子跨过引出孔前电势阱所需的能量更高.如果更多磁力线平行通过引出孔,中和器引出相同电子电流所需电压较小.当ECR区被天线切割或位于下游时,电子更易沿磁力线迁移到引出孔附近,从而降低了收集板电压.研究了同一磁路结构下不同腔体长度对电子引出的影响,发现增加腔体长度,使得更多平行轴线的磁力线通过引出孔从而避免电子损失在引出板表面,增加了引出电子电流.研究结果有助于设计合理的中和器磁路和腔体尺寸. 相似文献
